- Need knowledge in compliance for engineering system, like Boiler, ETP, Substation and fire etc.
Responsibilities & Context
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all mechanical/electrical equipment including pumps, conveyors, substation, meat processing machines, ETP/WTP and refrigeration systems.
- Maintain accurate records of mechanical/ electrical maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems to ensure optimal temperature and humidity conditions for meat storage.
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls, like cold store, chilled store, flake ice, AC, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical/refrigeration faults promptly, minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including AVR, PFI, VFD, LT panel and various electrical equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the maintenance workshop and equipment.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff (if applicable).
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations, like HACCAP, GMP etc.
- Conduct regular refrigerant checks and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the slaughtering house premises for potential hazards and safety issues.
- Raise spare parts requisition on time.
