  • At least One year hands on experience in Food Assistance program in emergency context.

Responsibilities & Context

  • M&E Assistant is mainly responsible for monitoring quality and quantity of all commodities and vegetables of retailer’s shop and fresh food corner inside the outlet being distributed among beneficiaries from camp area under General Food Assistance.
  • S/He will maintain and implement different kinds of monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure the quality and quantity of all kinds of commodities and reports in appropriate channel according to the SOP.
  • S/He will assist in Conducting the Post–Distribution Monitoring, Market price monitoring, FGD and any other assessment  at camp area and local market.
  • Mainly responsible for monitoring and evaluation of quality and quantity of all commodities & vegetables being distributed among beneficiaries from E-Voucher Outlets
  • Ensure that the retailers store quality commodities as per supplied sample at E-Voucher Outlets following the promised standards of food basket/food chart and reports instantly to the Outlet Supervisor, retailer management line supervisor as well as management team
  • Monitor the cleanliness and other visibility inside E-Voucher Outlets and report to Outlet Supervisor and line supervisor
  • Monitor the Mobilization process of Rohingya Community in order to ensure effective commodity transaction
  • Monitor the Sensitization process of beneficiaries through different way of sensitization inside and outside of E-voucher outlets (Megaphone, Community leaders, RFSC, Volunteers etc.)Ensure that beneficiaries are well aware about their food entitlement and budget allocation
  • Capacity building and sensitization of Volunteers, RFSC, Porters and other in relation with food basket and GFA program support
  • Maintain WFP and WVB prescribed different kinds of monitoring and evaluation tools, checklist and report in online platform and maintain hard copy of the checklist/tools
  • Assist to update beneficiary database and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as well
  • Prepare daily monitoring report with daily major finding and recommendations and share with outlet supervisor and line supervisor and retailers to prepare necessary action plan and immediate steps
  • Conduct various analysis on beneficiaries purchasing patter, satisfaction level, mobilization pattern, supply chain of commodities, beneficiary’s preference, CFRM service, exit interview and prepare success stories.
  • Will conduct PDM, and other assessment including market price monitoring at camp and adjacent market
  • Keep informal and formal collaboration with other NGO, SM, CiC & other agencies
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor
