Responsibilities & Context

GMS, a state of art and a leading national export trophy winner and one of the largest knit garments manufacturing company in Bangladesh is going to recruit “Management Trainee/Officer – IEP & Supply Chain” for Factory unit located in Sardaganj, Kashimpur, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:

Check daily manpower present, layout requirements, gap identify & ensure utilization.
Conducting capacity/production study where bottleneck area identify·
Conducting Method study and educate to follow the best method to operators.
Follow-up study (operators who are all not achieving the Target/Capacity).
Bundle system follow-up.
Bottle neck operation – identify and eradicate.
List out low efficiency operator and monitor to improve their efficiency.
Measuring line lost hours due to various reasons in sewing floor (NPT)·
Coordinating of daily activities of planned orders.
Collaborate with merchant & all functional team.
Communicate with Supply Chain for smooth line feeding.
Communicate with production team for smooth execution of production plan.
T&A follow-up for various event of orders & Weekly Delivery follow-up.
Plan Vs achievement follow-up and coordinate with production head for action plan.
Cutting, washing & printing plan follow-up for proper execution.
To meet & ensure the fabric knitting, dyeing, AOP, PP, size set, pre/test cut plan, bulk cut plan, embellishments, input start & close, accessories as per TNA.
Reviewing production plan and ensure raw materials in advance/ JIT to hit the plan & timely shipment·
Become a troubleshooter- Be proactive, try to solve problem yourselves first- Problem solving/killing instinct·
Carry out any other jobs assigned by management from time to time.
