Job Circular: Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Merchandising

Overview:

RFL, a leading local conglomerate with a rich legacy in the footwear & luggage industry is seeking to hire some “Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Merchandising” for its Footwear & Luggage Business. This role will involve managing the end-to-end merchandising process, including vendor communication, product development, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Coordination: Sourcing for local & foreign Buyers.Communicate with suppliers to manage product development, including material procurement and sample production. Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the merchandising process from concept to shipment.

• Product Development: Track progress from initial concept to final product, ensuring all merchandise meets quality and design specifications.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to support production and sales requirements.

• Market Research: Conduct research to analyze trends and consumer demands to aid in decision-making.

• Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to optimize the supply chain, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.

• Track and monitor production timelines to ensure deadlines are met and regularly communicate progress with buyers.

• Prepare cost sheets, negotiate pricing with suppliers, and manage budgeting to ensure profitability.
