Responsibilities & Context

People’s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) is a national Non-Governmental Development Organization with a vision to build a prudent nation free from hunger and poverty where every citizen leads a life with dignity and equity. Presently it has development partnership arrangements with government entities and more than 40 diversified development partners, MFIs and other financial institutions operating at international, national and regional level. Currently it has been implementing multi-sectoral socio economic development projects and programs across Bangladesh.

PART, the Peoples’ Academy for Role Transfer, was established with a clear purpose—to unlock the potential of individuals and ignite momentum in POPI’s efforts to bring about positive change within our community. Serving as a versatile platform, PART offers space and services to various development agencies and businesses for organizing a wide range of activities, including training sessions, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of the People’s Academy for Role Transfer (PART), contributing to the growth and impact of POPI’s educational and professional development initiatives.

Position Title : Manager

Location of posting : Kishoreganj Sadar, Kishoreganj

Major responsibilities:

• Establish PART as a Premier Training Centre:
• Lead the development of PART as a professional residential training center.
• Ensure the facility meets high standards of service and training delivery.
• Marketing and Business Development:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote PART’s services.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to attract new customers and partners.
• Enhance the visibility and reputation of PART through various marketing channels.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, manage, and inspire the PART team to achieve organizational goals.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Facility Management:
• Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance work, events, and room bookings.
• Ensure all facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of customers.
• Vendor and Contractor Liaison:
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and specialist contractors for facility upkeep and improvement.
• Ensure timely and efficient service delivery from all vendors and contractors.
• Guest Relations:
• Meet and greet guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints and queries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Health, Safety, and Compliance:
• Ensure PART complies with all health and safety legislation and licensing laws.
• Regularly review and update safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for staff and guests.
