Responsibilities & Context

Financial Reporting:

  • To be responsible for overall Accounts & Finance department.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure financial reports are accurate and timely.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • To coordinate for smooth Banking functions including reconciliations, payment schedule, cash management, transactions, Bank Guarantee/pay orders etc.
  • To perform other relevant duties from time to time assigned by the management.

    General Ledger Management:

  • Manage the daily general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Input project-wise transactions and find out project earnings and expenses.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • To be liable for accounting, finance, costing, strategic planning, inventory, contract negotiations, investment return analysis, fixed assets, all VAT, Taxation & treasury related function.
  • Ensure proper management of cash flow and working capital.
  • Implement and maintain efficient collection and payment processes.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting process, working with various departments to prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and analyze variances between actual and budget.
  • Provide financial projections and scenarios to support strategic planning.

    Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records to support financial audits and regulatory requirements.

    Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices and streamline accounting operations.·         Lead initiatives to automate and improve financial reporting and analysis.

    Team Leadership:

  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment with others and a high-performance work environment.

    Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives with financial analysis and due diligence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to support organizational growth.

    Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate financial information to senior management, board members and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive meetings and board reviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors and other financial partners.

    Others: Candidate must have experience in computer applications; especially MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook, with Accounting software books.
