Responsibilities & Context

  • Set up IE department at all factories to execute IE concept.
  • Train-up production management on IE concept.
  • Follow up assign job of subordinate and solve critical Problem.
  • Follow up preproduction activities on cutting, sewing, finishing.
  • Knowledge about KPI & Handle the KPI monthly basis.
  • Set up standard operation procedure in the sewing Line.
  • Work to implement planning and reduce plan vs actual gap.
  • Factory layout modification to reduce excess machine & operation.
  • Eliminate unnecessary and excess operation to reduce cost.
  • Analysis problem, identifies and find out solution to continuous improvement.
  • Standardize every steps of work in the manufacturing processes.
  • Distribute production plan to all related production stuff and meeting to implement planning.
  • Weekly Production Meeting conducts and discuss section wise problem.
  • Manpower allocation to reduce excess manpower & production cost.
  • Helper reduction to utilized operator properly and reduce production cost.
  • Operator Evaluation procedure set up & skill matrix for annual or half yearly increment.
  • Production staff recruitment through examination or test.
  • Work as a team leader for Implementation of 5S & KAIZEN.
  • Prepare a master plan/ layout of machines and/or workstations and lines to get the highest productivity by using the best suitable IE tools, techniques or methods.
  • Attending the pre-production meeting and discussing the critical operations, machine layout, SMV, manpower allocation etc. with all related persons.
  • Ensure operation bulletin and re-engineering /balancing the bulletin for better productivity in sections.
  • To Plan with the merchandising team and other related departments to get correct loading to smooth floor operation.
  • Follow-up daily productivity and performance with periodical reports to ensure on-time shipment.
  • Raise requisition for manpower, machines and other attachments/amenities in advance based on the scheduled production plan.
  • Identify critical path, conducting capacity study, production study, method study to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Measuring accurate factory efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity study, time & motion study, method study, machine breakdown etc.
  • Follow-up machine balance of the entire.
  • Help floor staff to do effective line layout according to Operation Bulletin and improve line balancing for smooth workflow.
  • To calculate SAM (standard allowed minute), Setup line target. Daily manpower balancing, target setting & achievement monitoring.
  • Find out bottleneck areas and analysis and stick to the problem until settled and clear.
  • Recommend new ideas and methods for increasing productivity and improving quality.
  • Make the consumption report for thread/Piping/Twill tape etc.
  • Any other relevant task assigned by management.
