Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Advanced certifications in mechanical systems or maintenance management will be a plus.

Additional Requirements
Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a textile manufacturing environment, preferably in towel production.
Objective:
- Comprehensive knowledge of textile machinery, especially dyeing, and finishing equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and preparing reports.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and technical expertise.
- Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the department.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems and equipment, including dyeing machines, and finishing equipment.
- Establish and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to maintain production flow.
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Plan and coordinate spare parts inventory to avoid production interruptions.
- Lead mechanical upgrades, installations, and projects to improve operational efficiency and meet production goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of machinery overhauls and upgrades.
- Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure the mechanical team adheres to them.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, machine performance, and downtime analysis.
- Generate periodic reports for senior management on the mechanical department’s performance and key metrics.
