Responsibilities & Context
Understanding tannery machinery functions, specifically possessing a technical understanding of leather processing.
Capable of interacting with all managerial levels in tanneries.
Able to adapt tough situations and challenges easily, delivering solution.
Possess good program management and organizational skills.
Be a good communicator.
Ensure that the production is cost effective.
Decide what resources are required; Assist to ensure the production is completed as per schedule.
Minimize production waste and frequently develop new ways of production to optimize resources.
Estimate costs and set the quality standards; Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmers.
Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers.
Work with management to implement the company’s policies and goals.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed;· Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
Review worker performance and prepare performance standards.
Identify training needs of the work force and suggest to implement.
Adequate knowledge about- Cost Management, Footwear Components, Production Management, Store and Inventory Management.
Job location: Hemayetpur BSCIC Industrial Area.
