Job Context:
One Sky Communications Limited is a Leading Nationwide ISP (Internet Service Provider) and VTS provider company in Bangladesh performing in diversified areas of the IT Industry with a mission to be a proud contributor to Digital Bangladesh.
One Sky Communications Limited is seeking a Smart & well-experienced Transmission Manager for its nationwide network operation.
Responsibilities:
- Transmission team management.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Google Earth.
- Record keeping of all the optical fiber cores and update regularly.
- Maintain database and find suitable third-party (local vendor) all over Bangladesh as per requirement.
- Site survey, planning and designing for Fiber & WiFi networks, attend pre-sales Meetings and troubleshoot network as per requirement.
- Communication with NTTNs.
- Planning and Designing Nationwide ISP Core Network.
- Implementation of active and passive networks.
- Report Analysis, Team Monitoring, Backbone & new network expansion planning.
- Coordination with all zonal in-charges & transmission teams all over Bangladesh for efficient operations.
- Manage Optical Fiber network, Optical Splitters deployment planning & operations all over Bangladesh.
- Prepare link budget and keep track of all the OPEX and CAPEX budgets of the team, also find ways to reduce OPEX budget.
- Overall coordination with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Must have good knowledge about OLT & ONU installation & commissioning and be familiar with new generation GPON & EPON technology.
- Coordinates all special requirements & activities within the team and other departments to fulfill target deliveries.
- Quality Testing of optical fiber; Troubleshooting and finding fiber faults, causes, and rectifying them.
