Job Context:

One Sky Communications Limited is seeking a Smart & well-experienced Transmission Manager for its nationwide network operation.

Responsibilities:

• Transmission team management.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Google Earth.
• Record keeping of all the optical fiber cores and update regularly.
• Maintain database and find suitable third-party (local vendor) all over Bangladesh as per requirement.
• Site survey, planning and designing for Fiber & WiFi networks, attend pre-sales Meetings and troubleshoot network as per requirement.
• Communication with NTTNs.
• Planning and Designing Nationwide ISP Core Network.
• Implementation of active and passive networks.
• Report Analysis, Team Monitoring, Backbone & new network expansion planning.
• Coordination with all zonal in-charges & transmission teams all over Bangladesh for efficient operations.
• Manage Optical Fiber network, Optical Splitters deployment planning & operations all over Bangladesh.
• Prepare link budget and keep track of all the OPEX and CAPEX budgets of the team, also find ways to reduce OPEX budget.
• Overall coordination with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Must have good knowledge about OLT & ONU installation & commissioning and be familiar with new generation GPON & EPON technology.
• Coordinates all special requirements & activities within the team and other departments to fulfill target deliveries.
• Quality Testing of optical fiber; Troubleshooting and finding fiber faults, causes, and rectifying them.
