Responsibilities & Context

• Develop and implement annual audit plans covering all operational areas, manufacturing plants, sales areas, and corporate office functions.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Coordinate regular market visits to audit sales performance, branding activities, product availability, visibility, pricing, promotional campaigns, and competitor activities.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify their strengths, weaknesses, strategies, and potential threats/opportunities for the company.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance teams, and related Stakeholders to align audit findings with business objectives.
• Validate the accuracy of secondary sales and market claims.
• Evaluate distributor performance, including sales coverage, stock levels, expiry control, and compliance with company policies.
• Identify risks related to sales fraud, product diversion, under-reporting, and non-compliance.
• Follow up on past audit findings and verify implementation of corrective measures.
• Provide detailed reports to Management highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities
• Any other tasks assigned by the Management.
