Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the gym with the coordination of the head trainer, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gym facilities.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement membership retention strategies.
- Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new members and promote gym services.
- Track membership sales and meet sales targets.
- Organize promotional events and community outreach activities if necessary.
- Ensure programs are up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and techniques.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and staff training.
- Maintain accurate records of memberships and staff performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports to upper management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in local markets
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing members, corporate clients, and business partners
- Build and manage partnerships with businesses, fitness organisations, and influencers to promote the gym’s services and brand
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and regional teams to successfully execute sales strategies and brand initiatives
- Track sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to optimize sales efforts in local markets
- Gather and analyse customer feedback to continuously improve membership offerings and services
- Any other task assigned by the management.
