Requirements
Education
- Master`s/Bachelor`s Degree in Agriculture, Soil Science, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, DVM, Livestock Management, or a related field
Experience
- 8 to 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Animal/Plant Breeding, Dairy, Farming

Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement dairy production programs to improve milk yield and quality.
- Design feeding, nutrition, and breeding programs to enhance herd productivity and genetics.
- Manage cattle fattening operations, including feeding plans, growth monitoring, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare, biosecurity, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze operational performance, productivity, and profitability of livestock projects.
- Conduct research, field trials, and feasibility studies to support business growth.
- Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and management recommendations.
- Supervise farm staff and ensure effective workforce management.
- Develop SOPs, conduct technical training, and build organizational capabilities.
- Prepare budgets, control operational costs, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
