Requirements

Education

• Bachelor/Masters in any discipline from any reputed university.
• Retired RO/ARO (CTG Customs Based) will get preference.

Experience

• 8 to 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Textile, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 40 years

• Detailed knowledge of Customs formalities.
• Tariff of Import and Export goods.
• Pre- shipment inspection & Post shipment Inspection.
• Documentation knowledge for clearing the Imported goods from customs.
• Documentation knowledge for forwarding the Exported goods.
• H.S code and its application.
• Good communication skills in both English & Bengali.

Responsibilities & Context

• Monitor and supervise all the activities of the commercial department.
• Responsible for manage all commercial activities like issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/ correction, shipment, payment realization, payment release etc.
• Monitoring documentation with customs & as per L/C requirements also ensure documents proper submission.
• Hand over the shipping document, L/C and related documents and monitor the status of custom assessment, Port & Agent charge for clearing the merchandise.
• Supervise all imports & exports through C&F agents & freight forwarders.
• Liaison with Banks, Bond Customs, EPB, BGMEA, VAT office, and all other required offices, Export section, Import section, Customs section, Bank section and Audit section.
• Co-operates with suppliers (Local & Foreign) for shipment schedule and timely shipment-related information.
• Responsible for prepare & submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the management / Superior for necessary action.
• Responsible to give a good account and prove to be equal to your responsibility. Work with quite efficient, trustworthy, committed, and dedicate.
• Bond management with sound knowledge of H.S Code, SRO, etc.
• Any other assignment given by the management time to time.
