Company Overview:

We are a leading textile manufacturing company, our operations encompass the entire textile production process—from receiving raw cotton to processing it into finished fabrics.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Manager – Compliance to oversee our factory’s safety and compliance programs. The ideal candidate will focus on fire safety, health and hygiene, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Candidates with a Postgraduate Diploma in Fire Safety or Social Compliance will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fire Safety Management: Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety protocols in accordance with national regulations and international standards. Conduct regular fire drills, ensure all fire safety equipment is maintained and functional, and train staff on fire prevention and emergency response.
• Building Safety Compliance: Ensure that all building structures and facilities comply with safety codes and regulations. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to address any structural issues and implement necessary safety measures.
• Health and Hygiene Oversight: Monitor workplace health and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all employees. Implement sanitation protocols and conduct regular inspections.
• Social Compliance: Ensure adherence to national labor laws, including BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, and Accord requirements. Prepare the factory for compliance audits and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
• Worker Relations and Welfare: Foster positive relationships between management and workers, facilitate participation committee meetings, and ensure effective communication channels. Manage employee welfare programs, including social security benefits, and ensure timely disbursement of salaries and bonuses.
• Training and Development: Organize and conduct training sessions on compliance, safety, and workers’ rights to promote awareness and adherence.
