Requirements
Education
- Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Cost Accounting
CMA partly qualified (Intermediate Level) from ICMAB
- University of Dhaka,Jahangirnagar University,Jagannath University,BRAC University,United International University students will get preference
Experience
- 7 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Packaging Industry
Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 42 years
- Very strong analytical skills with the ability to pay attention to details in the manufacturing business setting (multi product categories, segments and high number of SKUs)
- Strong capabilities of MS Excel with pivot reports.
- Patience & perseverance to meet the deadlines. Ownership and accountability for delivering expected result.
- Mindset for Continuous improvement, proactive and open-minded towards new & different ways of doing things.
- Fluency in English.
Responsibilities & Context
- Responsible for accurate product costing.
- Work with team members to develop new product price estimation and costing
- Controlling of the overall cost of production and other associated costs. Monitoring Actual Business Performance, Variance Analysis, Corrective Actions & Feedback Analysis
- In depth analysis of expenses on a month-to-month basis and providing reasoning for variance to reporting team
- Assist in post-costing to determine the cause of any cost variances to control product cost factors
- Ensure that all processes from initial costing to pre-costing of factory’s category article are followed before final costing for cost effective product development
- Ensure that there is accurate recording of expenditure in the appropriate journals and ledgers.
- Control and review raw material budget and variance to ensure it is within budget
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products
- Any other task assigned by Management
