Position Overview:

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations and inventory of the distribution center. This role ensures efficient processes, proper inventory management, and the overall smooth operation of the warehouse. The manager will lead a team, coordinate with crossfuntional departments, and strive to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

·         Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards, implement efficient processes, and monitor productivity and quality.

·         Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and develop inventory control policies.

·         Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, foster a positive work environment, and provide guidance to achieve operational goals.

·         Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers, ensure timely delivery of goods, and manage logistics for efficiency.

·         Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory accuracy, DC to warehouse delivery time and fillrate, on-time receiving, warehouse utilization, labor productivity, pick and pack rates and safety incident rates. Generate performance reports, identify areas for improvement, and stay updated on industry trends.

·         Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, meet delivery standards, and resolve complaints promptly.

·         Budget Management: Develop and manage the distribution center budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.

What we expect from you

·         Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

·         Proven 6-10 yrs experience in warehouse management, logistics, or distribution center operations.

·         Strong leadership and team management skills.

·         Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

·         Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
