Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Certified Dyeing Technologist (CDT).
  • Certified Color Professional (CCP).
  • Certified Textile Professional (CTP).
  • Chemical Safety and Hazardous Materials Certification.
  • Professional Development in Textile Chemistry and Dyeing.
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification.

Experience

Responsibilities & Context

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all dyeing activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement dyeing recipes and processes to achieve desired colors and quality standards.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust processes as needed to meet deadlines and production targets.
  • Ensure all dyed fabrics meet specified quality and color standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control tests to identify and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with the quality control department to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve dyeing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement best practices and innovative techniques to optimize dyeing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all dyeing activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to protect employees and the environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure all dyeing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular maintenance and repairs.
