Responsibilities & Context

1. Donor Engagement and Communication:

  • Establish and maintain communication with new and existing donor agencies.

  • Actively build partnerships with new donors and ensure ongoing relationships with existing ones.

  • Schedule appointments and facilitate meetings between donors and the SAWAB Chairman.

2. Planning and Reporting:

  • Develop and execute monthly activity plans, including detailed budgets and reports.

  • Provide innovative ideas and strategic initiatives to strengthen SAWAB’s programs and outreach.

  • Prepare comprehensive survey reports, situational analyses, and concise project documents as required.

3. Proposal and Project Development:

  • Prepare and submit project proposals, project concept papers and project concept notes aligned with organizational goals and donor requirements.

  • Contribute to the preparation of newsletters, brochures, and the annual report to showcase SAWAB’s impact.

  • Ensure prompt and accurate progress reporting, including short summaries, progress updates, and final project completion reports.

4.Compliance and Fund Release:

  • Ensure timely communication and compliance to facilitate the release of funds from donors.

  • Regularly interact with donors to address compliance requirements and provide necessary project updates.

5.  Content Creation and Social Media Management:

  • Develop and manage content for SAWAB’s social media platforms, including writing for the website, Facebook, and other media.

  • Prepare speeches, statements, and promotional materials to represent the organization effectively in the public sphere.

6. Fundraising Strategy Development:  

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and strengthen the fundraising department.

  • Identify new fundraising opportunities and explore innovative approaches to expand SAWAB’s donor base.

  • Renew partnerships with previous donors and adapt to evolving donor interests as needed.

7.  Additional Support and Compliance:  

  • Support the team with any additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.

  • Play a proactive role in enhancing donor relationships, expanding outreach, and meeting organizational fundraising goals.

    These responsibilities ensure that the Manager – Fundraising and Communication plays a vital role in expanding SAWAB’s reach, securing necessary funds, and fostering meaningful relationships with donors to achieve the organization’s mission.
