Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information System, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting & Information System, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System
- Bachelor’s degree in an area of accounting, auditing or Business administration
- or equivalent Internal Audit qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIA, CFE, CISA etc.)
- and/or other professional certification.
Experience
- 5 to 10 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Banks, Leasing
Additional Requirements
- Age 30 to 40 years
Key Qualifications:
- Be a qualified Internal Auditor (IIA)
- At least 8-10 years recent professional experience in Internal Audit, Accounting,
- Risk management or Fraud Investigation.
- Demonstrable experience at a senior level, Bank/ FI sector is preferable.
- Experience of managing teams, as well as indirect relationships
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international
- and matrix management environment with people from diverse backgrounds
- and cultures.
Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the existing governance framework through the creation of a third line
- of defense in respect of enterprise risk management
- Develop and maintain the operational risk framework, internal controls and
- internal audit programmer that meets the needs of the business and ensures
- regulatory, legal and operational compliance.
- Design and present comprehensive reporting that signals early warning of any
- suspected procedural weaknesses in the business and take responsibility for the
- implementation of agreed recommendations.
- Develop relationships with key regulatory bodies/legal advisers and ensure all
- licenses are maintained.
- Bring leadership, operational excellence and a highly analytical approach to
- Internal Control & Compliance.
