• Knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise techniques, and industry trends

• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Valid certification as a personal trainer or fitness instructor (preferred)

Job Purpose

To oversee the day-to-day operations of the health club/gym, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient management of staff, and adherence to safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of club operations, including fitness classes, personal training, and facility maintenance

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility

• Manage inventory and procurement of fitness equipment, supplies, and consumables

• Build and maintain strong relationships with members

• Resolve member complaints and issues efficiently and professionally

• Handle member inquiries and concerns in a timely manner

• Implement strategies to increase member retention and satisfaction

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff

• Create and maintain a positive and motivating work environment

• Develop and implement strategies to increase membership sales and revenue

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards

• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions

• Develop and implement emergency procedures

• Maintain accurate records and documentation
