Job Context:
International Trimming & Labels (ITL) Group is a UK based Multinational company and manufacturer of garments accessory. ITL Group has global operations in 14 countries over 35 years of experience. International Trimming & Labels Bangladesh Private Limited (ITL-BD) is a sister concern of ITL group. And it is operating in Bangladesh since 2015. It is manufacturer and exporter of garments Tags, care labels etc.
ITL-BD is seeking young, talented and aspiring candidate who is a team player and multitasker and would like to join our team and meaningfully contribute to accelerate business development and reach the organization’s goal.
Job Description / Responsibility:
Production Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the heat transfer label production department.
- Ensure production schedules are met with optimal efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of products.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a safe and collaborative work environment.
Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to streamline operations.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Inventory Management:
- Manage raw material inventory to ensure adequate supply for uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to source materials at optimal cost and quality.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for production equipment and processes.
- Oversee maintenance schedules for machinery to minimize downtime.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and maintenance activities.
