Responsibilities & Context

  • Managing all the operations in the Printing Department, attending to all technical and administrative issues, coordinating with other sections & Management for solving the issues, getting approval, and advising the team to ensure all issues related to the printing process are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervising and ensuring that Cut panel, ink materials & other materials is received as per printing plan.
  • Responsible to ensure that respective process operation (Such as-Designing, color mixing, sampling, exposing, printing, curing, heat seal/fusing, receiving & issuing) is running as per plan & capacity.
  • Responsible to ensure that Printing is done based on the line priority & backline /Sub-store requirement.
  • Communicating with the relevant department to generate the most effective solutions to the operational and technical issues.
  • Monitoring and controlling material over-consumption in the printing Department to reduce additional cost.
  • Ensuring the accurate scheduling of the sectional output and appropriate manpower balancing to production priorities.
  • Developing technical skills and improving the methods of the employees in the Printing Department to facilitate productivity improvement.
  • Following the quality policy objective.
  • Maintaining the activities as per ISO, 5S, buyer requirements.
  • Attending pre-production meetings to understand critical technical or quality issues and educating the subordinates on the necessary precautionary measures.
  • Any duties & responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to  time, as deemed necessary.
  • Ensure health and safety, cleanliness procedures are maintained at all times and any behaviors of subordinates that could effect the H&S risks are necessary.
  • Ensure aspects that have impact to the environment by your processes is identified and reviews to meet with environmental objectives of the organization.
  • To liaison with – Merchandiser – Production People- Buyer
  • To prepare Plan, Monitor, Coordinate, Trouble Shoot and Analyze the Work & feedback to the Management.
