Requirements

Education

  • At Least MBA, Major in HRM from University of Dhaka/Jahangirnogor University/University of Chittagong/North South University or any reputed university with PGDHRM degree that’s to be given preference.

Experience

  • 10 to 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Fuel/Petroleum

Additional Requirements

  • Age 40 to 50 years
  • Retired Commissioned officer (Army) will be given preference for the post.
  • Good knowledge about Bangladesh labour law-2006 & rules-2018, Fire safety audit & building safety audit
  • Candidate should have work in the factory.
  • Strong leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
  • Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
  • Should be excellent team player and also very sharp, smart with fair personality.
  • Excellent communication skill in both English & Bengali.
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments/Group of Companies/ Multinational Companies and Lubricating Industry.
  • Working Experience with Lubricating manufacturing Company will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Formulation and implementation of HR policies and manuals.
  • Maintain HR processes and initiatives in recruitment, training and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain the recruitment and selection process by posting job advertisement, reviewing and screening applications assisting in the interview process and finalizing the appointment process. Also complete the discharge/resignation/termination in the proper way.
  • Continue the follow up HR and admin activities with all departments and ensure timely support, coordination and communication with the employees.
  • Ensure that quality personnel are boarded as needed in a timely manner.
  • Have a good understanding of HR policies and also having sound knowledge of Bangladesh labour law and its subsequent amendments.
  • Assist to prepare /develop/ update organogram for different departments/units. Expand the training and development programs based on both the organizations and the individuals need.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure an effective performance appraisal process for the performance of employees.
  • Bridge management and employees relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Ensure all employees have a positive work environment are treated well and are happy to work in our country.
  • Nature a positive working environment and manage employee performance and development.
  • Supervise attendance records, salary calculation and disbursement.
  • Supervise and manage day to day office costs for repairs, office equipment etc. with the help finance, admin and IT to ensure that the office run smoothly.
  • Ensuring legal compliance, policies and procedures, termination, dismissal compensation, disciplinary action, handling of grievances and management conflicts.
  • Strong ability to motivate employees to ensure outstanding performance.
  • Prepare manpower planning and budgeting.
  • Work closely with the program about JD development, update the JD, store it for present in demand, share this employee, and provide answer for necessary quarry in this regard.
  • Develop conceptual framework & strategy for HR by reviewing employee productivity.
  • Succession Planning, HR analytics, HR metrics and people management and ISO Certification Audit face
  • The applicant should have the practical experience and sound knowledge in the field to maintain liaison and follow up with different Government i.e., Trade license, boiler registration, explosion certificate, environmental license, Business Association and Trade body Membership’s certification, and vehicle registration, renewal, insurance & AIT, labor law, Industrial law, WASA, DESCO, City Corp etc.) and maintain all the License/Govt. Approvals/Permissions/Updated Certificates.
  • Proper knowledge to have deal the matter with different agency i.e., port authority DC, Local Thana, Industrial Police, Fire Fighting Office, and RAB
  • Should have proper experience about SAP (HR& Admin)
  • Developed Key performance indicator (KPI) and goal setting of the different level of employees with their department head and conduct appraisal process.
  • Good Team Player with a feeling for cultural differences as well as positioning within the management team.
  • Managing the performance review process, setting objectives, and providing support for employee’s career development.
  • Overseeing office administration, including facilities management, vendor relations and budgeting for administrative expenses.
  • Follow up all data , records, reports, formats, statement, rank & files, book & registers of all departments are properly prepared, issued, update & maintained as per compliance requirement/standards.
  • Any other special assignment from management.
