  • MBA/PGD in Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, engagement, and industrial relations in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with compliance, audits, and CSR activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in employee engagement, training design, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws, compliance, and grievance handling.
  • Capability to manage recruitment, succession planning, and facility services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Lead the recruitment process for assigned portfolio.
  • Lead Performance Management & Development Process for Management Staff, Team Leaders & Team Members (Growth Path System)
  • Manpower & Succession Planning for the plant to ensure no business disruption.
  • Build positive employee engagement and teamwork culture. Create a Platform for employee engagement & encourage the team to participate in employee engagement accordingly.
  • Responsible for Employee Relations & Industrial Relations.
  • Address employee grievances. Monitor employee discipline & disciplinary action.
  • Support the plant team for better performance and business deliverable.
  • Design and implement OD initiatives to address operation and people issues.
  • Design and execute the training program for the year. Drive Training Needs Assessment. Designing tailored training initiatives.
  • Review training needs on Quality, EOHS, FP&R. Review training Plan and provide resources for the execution of training plan.
  • Implement external audit standard, review external audit handling process. Ensure closure of external audit findings.
  • Play lead role in managing Public Relations with Govt and NGO in line with company ethical principles.
  • Ensure that safety/ personal & industrial hygiene practices are defined & followed by the employees.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping practices are defined and followed across the plant.
  • Conduct annual health check-up program for employees and drive OH initiatives at Site along with Site Leader EOHS and Medical Practitioner.
  • Ensure statutory compliances related with employment, employees (ESIC, PF, Labor Welfare, etc.)
  • Support Facility Management Process to ensure smooth functioning of Facility Service, Security, Canteen, Laundry, Transportation Services.
  • Participate to integrate between quality system and EOHS and FP&R.
  • Responsible for driving CSR activities.
  • Ensures compliance to Colgate & ACI Code of Conduct and driving MSB in the facility.
  • Business partnering to ensure smooth day to day functioning and drive strategic initiatives.
