  • At least 5 years (s) managerial experience in the export-oriented garment/leather product/bag industry.
  • Should have excellent command of English.The candidate we are looking for has to be highly proactive, self-motivated, and energetic.
  • Must know Quality Management systemMust have good interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.Must have excellent command over MS Office applications.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Responsible for making and implementing Compliance policies as per local law and different buyers’ codes of conduct. Capable of understanding the customer need for sustainability standards.
  • Vast Knowledge of BLL2006 and RSC/Nirapon.
  • Ensure buyer COC.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations of the HR and administrative functions.
  • Responsible for recruitment of staff and can understand the requirement of manpower of different departments and capable of recruiting the right people in the right place.
  • Worker recruitment, attendance, authorization, and management of overtime, leave, grievance handling, general administration, etc.
  • Capable of finding and controlling manpower turn-over.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law, and ILO convention Relevant to the RMG / Textile / Leather & footwear sector in Bangladesh.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated to identify/ assess and ensure all safety measures pertinent to fire hazards & overall security of the company, lives, and properties.
  • Contribute to maintaining a pleasant work environment among all line members and departments.
  • To ensure Health & Safety issues are in order.
  • To monitor training/awareness on a regular basis.
  • Develop strategic policy & procedures in an aspect of Admin & HR issues. Resolve employees’ grievances, the stress in a proactive manner.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining and arranging an official meeting as per management requirements and any other task assigned by higher authority as and when required
  • Planning, controlling, and maintaining office transport, office equipment, property, assets, and other movable and immovable properties.
  • *Maintain sound liaison and public relations with Auditors, the Fire & Civil Defense Department, the Labor Office, the Labor Court, the Police Station, relevant authorities including law enforcement agencies, different government agencies, and local influential community leaders to ensure smooth operation at the factory.
  • Assist effectively to organize the administration team with responsibilities for office support, maintenance of transport pool, security, legal affairs, and general site/office maintenance.
  • To maintain general office administration, and support organizational and staff management. Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • Communicate with LFMEAB, Compliance Auditors, DIEF, Fire & Civil Defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences, etc.
  • To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
  • Proactive to keep all documents up to date.
