Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Social Science/ Business / Occupational Science/ Science from a reputed University.

Experience

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years

The preferred candidate for the HR Manager role should have at least 10-12 years of HR experience in the RMG, Textile, or FMCG industry, with a minimum of 3 years as Head of Plant HR, ideally in a large woven RMG factory.

Certifications in areas such as Project Management (PMP), Human Resources (PHR, SPHR), Occupational Health and Safety PGD in HRM can be beneficial.

Responsibilities & Context

Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant positions, ensuring timely hiring of skilled labor and staff to minimize vacancy periods and maintain a well-trained workforce that meets production demands.

Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, factory regulations, and company policies to avoid legal issues and ensure audits are passed without fines or penalties.

Ensure rollout of HR policies and processes in collaboration with CPOD/SPOD at the plant level.

Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee grievances and ensuring effective communication, resulting in high morale, low turnover, and improved productivity.

Ensure employee performance and align development with plant operational goals.

Work in collaboration with CPOD/SPOD to identify skill gaps and organize training programs to enhance workforce capabilities, leading to increased productivity and competency levels that support operational efficiency.

Work in collaboration with CPOD/SPOD roll out initiatives to improve engagement and retention, such as recognition programs and well-being activities, resulting in reduced turnover and a more motivated workforce.

Collaborate with safety officers to ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards, creating a safer work environment with fewer accidents and regulatory compliance.

Maintain accurate HR records and provide regular reports to plant leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making through insights on staffing, turnover, and other critical HR metrics and report to CPOD/SPOD.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community stakeholders, Industrial Police, local police station, labor directorate authorities, and BGMEA representatives to enhance plant reputation and resolve external challenges efficiently.
