Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science

• MTCNA and CCNA certifications are highly preferred.

Experience

• 10 to 15 years

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 45 years

• Should have experience in Server Administration (Windows and Linux Platform).
• Should have experience in Fortinet Firewall Administration, Baracoda Email Security Gateway, Zimbra Email Server Administration, Mikrotik and Cisco Device Administration.
• Should have knowledge in Wireless Communication (P2P), Accesspoint (AB), and Router Configuration.
• Knowledge in Router, LAN, WAN, VLAN, etc.
• Proficient in network administration, server management, and IT support tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities & Context

Networking:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN systems.

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality.

• Secure the network from potential cybersecurity threats and implement firewalls, encryption, and other security measures.

• Evaluate and upgrade networking hardware and software as needed.

IT Support:

• Oversee the IT support team, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Develop and maintain protocols for responding to user queries and troubleshooting hardware/software problems.
• Provide training for employees on IT systems and best practices.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper functioning of all systems.

Server Maintenance:

• Manage and maintain server systems, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular system updates, backups, and security patches.
• Oversee database management and storage solutions.
• Optimize server performance to meet the growing demands of the business.

Leadership and Strategy:

• To lead a team, providing direction and guidance to the department.
• Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with company objectives.
• Develop budgets and oversee procurement for IT hardware, software, and services.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
