Additional Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience, including demonstrated expertise in managing ICT infrastructure and holding leadership positions
• Maximum 48 years of age
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of networking, virtualization, cloud computing, server management, and IT security
• Certifications (preferred): CISA, Microsoft Azure, PMP, SAP S/4 HANA ERP or equivalent

Responsibilities & Context

SMC Enterprise Limited, a large, well-reputed organization involved in the sales, marketing, and production of health, consumer and pharmaceutical products, is looking for an experienced, matured and self driven candidate for the following position. The position will be based at the Head Office, Banani, Dhaka:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement ICT infrastructure strategy of the company in alignment with business goals.
• Design, deploy, maintain, and improve the IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of ICT services.
• Lead and manage the ICT infrastructure team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.
• Ensure the security of IT systems through firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures.
• Respond to security incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Lead ICT infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technological needs.
• Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor.
