Responsibilities & Context

Manager, KM, MIS and Research, is responsible for preparing all the reports, MIS Data, case studies, attaining all donor requirements, providing technical expertise on Child Protection and Early Childhood development project design, reporting, implementing the piloting of innovative ideas, Coordinating with Child Protection Sub-sectors, conducting CP focus research, and cascading digital innovation. S/he has intensive information and experience in humanitarian coordination architecture.

Strategic Planning and Overall Management:

Work intensively with Child Protection Sector of HCMP, BRAC regarding Programme design, development and preparing SoPs or guideline.

Provide support to the Sector lead, and Project Managers with assessed, accurate & verified information that feed in developing and implementing an appropriate and effective Child Protection strategy, setting clear objectives and indicators for child protection activities in consultation with other child protection staff and field staff, and, where appropriate, with the local communities.

JRP proposal develop and shared the PDDR

Assist to Sector Lead and Project Manager in designing sectoral presentation and Annual Operation Plan (AoP) for the sector.

Oversee implementation and monitoring of sectoral activities:

Track action plans and coordination with HCMP PDDR to minimize gaps and overlaps, ensure consistency, and provide feedback to Sector Lead and HCMP Higher Management for timely action and follow-up.

Coordinate and facilitate the M&E and MIS and Research team to produce quality reports for the sector

Leading Data-driven decision-making and evidence-based advocacy for the sector/projects.

Disseminate MIS, M&E Report and Research findings with Management

Leading and facilitating innovation of the Child Protection sectorQuality and Accountability:

Find quality gaps through close monitoring and provide technical support to ensure the quality of the projects’ activities in the child protection sector.

Designing and implementing Accountability framework (CFRM) for the sector

Provide support and technical assistance to design the capacity building plan and conduct training.

Provide Technical supports to Child Protection team as and when required.

Closely working with PDDR, MIS team and CP Team to meet the programme quality of sector.

Stakeholders’ Coordination, Networking, Advocacy:

Working dedicatedly as a represent BRAC-HCMP-Sector in the Child Protection Sub-Sector with technical inputs to prepare technical materials

Supporting to the CPPS coordination team to coordinate, and collaborate the CPSS task under the ISCG.

CP Partners especially Child protection Focal Points regularly communicate under the CPSS

CP facilities and coverage mapping under the CPSS

Support Sector Lead to coordinate and liaise with local/regional CP actors and sub-sector level.

Data Management, Monitoring and Reporting:

Managing and implementing the Real-time data for taking decisions of the Sector lead and Senior Management of HCMP

Designing a data management framework and sharing it with Sector leader and Senior Management

Leading and disseminating M&E data and reporting to the Management and donor

Creating evidence and enhancing the storing of knowledge through systematic approaches.

Research, Fund Raising, Proposal Development and Reporting:

Conducting sector development focus research study where CP and ECD focus research;

Working closely with Sector Lead to Design, Development, and Review in concept notes and project proposal development etc.

Lead the process for report, proposal, and concept note writing for the Chil protection sector.

Designing Fund Raising tables for reaching to the donor Innovation and Piloting:

Leading the Humanitarian Make Lab (HML) , HPL Plus services for implementing the piloting and scale-up

Leading to the design and implementation of the Climate change responsive programme design through child and adolescent participation.

Safeguarding:

Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
