Responsibilities & Context

Overview:

RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s most diversified and innovation-driven conglomerates, is seeking a highly competent and results-oriented professional for the role of Manager – Maintenance (Cable, Metal-MS & GI, Battery). This role is critical in overseeing the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations across our advanced production units. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted production by developing and executing proactive maintenance strategies across our Cable, Metal-MS & GI Pipes, and Battery Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime.

• Lead, supervise, and support maintenance staff, including technicians and contractors.

• Oversee and participate in the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are always in stock.
• Coordinate procurement of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine history, and downtime logs.
• Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or machinery upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs without compromising reliability or safety.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, reduce energy consumption, and lower maintenance costs.
