Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology

Experience

  • At least 8 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • In depth understanding of fabrics in Solid dyed, Printed and Yarn Dyed Non-Denim Woven Fabrics.
  • Familiarity with textile supply chain, from raw materials to finished goods and insight into the sustainability and ethical considerations within the industry.
  • Negotiating skills, understanding the right value of the product, ability to close deals maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Lead the marketing and merchandising team, setting KPIs, providing training, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with high-profile clients, identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to ensure timely product development aligned with market trends.
  • Oversee the pricing strategy, cost management, and margin analysis to maximize profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Establish and manage the merchandising calendar, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Work with senior management to forecast sales, set budgets, and develop business plans.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the industry changes, new materials, and emerging trends.
  • Experience in conducting market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.
