Skills & Expertise: Store Manager-Yarn, Fabric & Accessories

Responsibilities & Context

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the garments, accessories, yarn & fabric store, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Lead the warehouse/store team for effective management of store operation in receiving, inspection, storage, issuance & transfer of items as per company policy.

Ensure best practices and meeting quality and compliance standards to achieve key results monitor and manage store inventory levels, including receiving, organizing, and replenishing garments.

Conduct regular stock checks, identify slow-moving items, and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.

Implement security measures to prevent theft, loss, or damage to garments and store property.

Train staff on loss prevention procedures and address any security concerns promptly.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of garments, as well as adherence to fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures.

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the store environment.

Coordinate with maintenance and repair services as needed.

Follow-up and monitor all functions of the Inventory management.

Ensure goods Outbound and Inbound functions, Proper inventory tracking, receiving, storage and movements.

Check materials in-house status, inventory report & inform to related concern person.

Follow up Purchase Order, Inventory and ensure all in-house activities properly.

Check materials availability as per Production plan and materials requirement.

Follow up material on time supply and distribution as per Production requirement.·

Oversee documentation, issuing, receipts, warehousing, inventory, and software entries for raw materials, finished goods, and machinery.·

Understand logistic requirements and coordinate transport to ensure timely delivery of goods.·

Regularly inspect inventory cards, ledgers, and MIS to update and monitor the store management system using factory ERP software.·

Maintain and update daily store registers and related reporting documentation.·

Conduct audits to ensure inventory accuracy across software records, physical stock, and bin cards.·

Any other task given by management.
