Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview:

Aurora Specialized Hospital is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Operations to lead and optimize our hospital’s daily operations. The candidate must have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure seamless service delivery while maintaining high patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory and Compliance:

    Ensure all hospital operations comply with local laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. Play a pivotal role in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation and maintaining compliance with government authorities.

  • Administrative and HR Management:

    Oversee the administration and human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and policy implementation. Promote a harmonious work environment and resolve staff grievances efficiently.

  • Operational Oversight:

    Perform all operational tasks related to the hospital’s regulatory and compliance requirements, including administrative duties, HR policies, supply chain management, store inventory management, and financial reporting.

  • Hospital Launch and Project Readiness:

    Lead pre-launch activities and preparation for the hospital’s inauguration. Coordinate between various departments to ensure smooth project execution, focusing on quality and timelines.

  • Building a Service-Oriented Institution:

    Strive to create a dynamic, service-oriented institution by continuously improving hospital systems, patient services, and operational processes. Implement innovative solutions to enhance the hospital’s reputation and standards.

  • Employee Relations and Development:

    Foster friendly relationships among all hospital staff, promoting collaboration and teamwork. Initiate and facilitate professional development training (local and global) for employees to ensure skill enhancement and competency building.

  • Resource Management:

    Ensure effective supply chain management, including procurement, storage, and inventory of medical and operational supplies. Maintain accountability and efficiency in resource allocation.

  • Leadership and Innovation:

    Utilize your knowledge and expertise to implement innovative practices, optimize hospital services, and set benchmarks for operational excellence.

  • Quality Assurance:

    Regularly assess the hospital’s service delivery standards and work on continuous improvement initiatives to maintain patient satisfaction and operational excellence.

  • Crisis Management:

    Handle emergencies and operational challenges promptly, ensuring that all issues are resolved with minimal disruption to hospital operations.

  • Reporting and Communication:

    Prepare and submit regular performance reports to senior management. Maintain open and effective communication channels with stakeholders, staff, and external partners.

  • Policy and Procedure Implementation:

    Follow the job descriptions and instructions provided by higher officials. Adapt to evolving roles and responsibilities as defined by hospital authorities.

  • Hospital Branding and Public Relations:

    Act as a brand ambassador for the hospital by maintaining professional conduct, etiquette, and exemplary behavior. Promote the hospital’s reputation within the community and industry.

  • Manpower Management:

    Efficiently manage and oversee a workforce of 200-300 individuals, ensuring optimal deployment and productivity. Address personnel concerns, facilitate teamwork, and foster a supportive work environment. Implement strategies to enhance staff motivation, performance, and overall job satisfaction in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Terms of Service:

    The hospital authorities reserve the right to revise, modify, or amend any terms of employment as necessary to meet the institution’s goals and regulatory requirements.

    This role requires a dynamic, proactive individual committed to operational excellence and the development of a patient-centered healthcare environment.
