Responsibilities & Context

Manage daily store operations, including ensuring the store is clean and presentable.
Oversee inventory levels, stock, and ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve targets.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and maintaining service standards.
Monitor market trends, new products, and competitors to stay competitive.
Promote the store and its products through marketing and community involvement.
Plan, forecast, report on sales, costs and business performance.
Assist Area Manager in developing Business Strategies for Retail Operations.
Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR), Goods Received Notes (GRN) and manage store to store Stock Transfer, Stock Returns etc. through SAP System.
Manage and monitor POS System & Loyalty issues as and when necessary.
Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicate this to relevant departments in the Company.
Supervise selling and Guest service activities and staff competence in these areas, so as to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability and Guest satisfaction.
Handle costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the shop.
