Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production plans and setting up schedules based on sales forecasts, operational capacity, and inventory requirements.
- Monitor production capacities and capabilities to optimize resource allocation and ensure production targets are met.
- Coordinate with inventory management teams for smooth operation.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the production process.
- Supervise and mentor planning team members, ensuring they are adequately trained and motivated to perform their roles effectively.
- Continuously analyze production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and sales to coordinate activities and achieve overall business objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as production output, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
