Additional Requirements
- Age at least 30 years
- Experience designing solutions on cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (especially Ubuntu), open-source cloud and virtualization technologies, and configuration management tools.
- Solid understanding of DNS, mail transport protocols, and monitoring tools (e.g., MRTG, Cacti, Nagios).
- Familiarity with cPanel and WHMCS-based hosting environments.
- Ability to create SOPs and system architecture diagrams for daily operations and maintenance.
- Proven experience in introducing new technologies and designing products to drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of system and network security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to self-learn emerging technologies.
- A collaborative team player who can perform under pressure and act independently in critical situations.
Responsibilities & Context
- Maintain an onsite public cloud infrastructure running on CloudStack and OpenNebula with Ceph storage.
- Perform daily system administration on open-source Linux systems running virtualization/cloud platforms such as Proxmox, CloudStack, and OpenNebula.
- Monitor and maintain clustered and software-defined storage (SDS) solutions, especially Ceph.
- Analyze Linux system logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot service provider-scale DNS servers (BIND).
- Perform regular system software and OS installations, updates, and maintenance.
- Manage large-scale MySQL clusters, LAMP stack services, and HAProxy-based load balancers for high availability.
- Monitor system performance using various tools and perform regular tuning and optimization.
- Administer advanced networking configurations, including VLAN, VXLAN, VPC, LACP, Linux bridging, and SDN.
- Ensure secure server deployments and implement network security best practices.
- Manage data backup processes to ensure timely and secure data preservation.
