Requirements
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Production Engineering, Leather Technology, Footwear/Production Engineering or equivalent.
- Additional Certification in production management, quality control, or footwear manufacturing are a plus.
Experience
- At least 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tannery/Footwear
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 35 years
- Minimum 7 years of experience in footwear manufacturing or production management.
- Proven track record in managing production teams and achieving output targets.
- Hands-on experience with School Shoes, PU sandals, PVC sandals, EVA Sandals, DIP, and Lasting production lines.
- Experience in implementing process improvements and quality assurance practices.
Skills:
- Leadership and team management, with the ability to guide production staff effectively.
- Expertise in footwear production processes (PU sandals, PVC sandals, DIP, Lasting).
- Production planning, scheduling, and process optimisation.
- Quality control and adherence to footwear industry standards.
- Cost control, resource management, and operational efficiency.
- Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making under pressure. Skills:
Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee daily production operations across all Sewing lines & footwear lines, including PU sandals, PVC sandals, EVA Sandals and DIP/Lasting products, ensuring smooth workflow and timely output.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output and quality targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and cost-control measures throughout the production process.
- Lead, manage, and mentor production staff, promoting a disciplined, motivated, and high-performing work environment.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, merchandising, and quality control teams to
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement, implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Prepare detailed production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide timely updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor machinery and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Implement and oversee training programs for production staff to improve skills, efficiency, and safety awareness.
- Drive innovation and adoption of new production techniques or technologies to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
