We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our food and beverage production operations.

Job Overview:

The Manager, Production (Food & Beverage) will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes of our food and beverage products. The role involves managing daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimizing production efficiency, and leading a team of production staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food processing, with a focus on efficiency, quality control, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage production units.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet company targets.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure optimal use of resources, including raw materials, machinery, and manpower.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards, adhering to food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and monitor quality control measures.
  • Address any quality issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving product quality, and increasing efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep production processes competitive.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of production supervisors, operators, and staff.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for employee development.

Compliance Safety:

  • Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations, including food safety and environmental standards.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols within the production units.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies for audits and inspections, ensuring compliance at all times.

Reporting Documentation:

  • Prepare and present production reports to senior management, including performance metrics, production costs, and improvement plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control logs.
