• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Diploma in Textile Engineering

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
• Diploma in textile Engineering/Masters degree in any discipline.

Experience

Responsibilities & Context

1. Developing and Implementing the QMS: System Design: Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System that aligns with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and the brand’s specific needs. Documentation: Create and maintain all necessary QMS documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.

2. Quality Assurance: Standards Enforcement: Establish quality standards for raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product inspections to ensure consistent quality. Supplier Quality Management: Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials and components meets the required standards, conducting audits and assessments as necessary.

Product Testing: Oversee product testing to ensure compliance with safety, durability, and other relevant standards.

• Responsible for Initial, Inline & Pre-Final inspection.

• Responsible for training & development to factory quality and Employees.

• Conduct PP Meeting.

• Responsible for Line audits using and following Buyers guideline & checklist.

• Responsible for defects and data analysis.

• Follow-up additional country requirement.

• Follow and maintaining factory Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

• production process /Quality/Inspection and Maintain Bayer Requirements Etc.

3. Continuous Improvement: Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the production cycle to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Lean and Six Sigma: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, such as defect rates, return rates, and customer satisfaction.

4. Training and Development: Staff Training: Train employees at all levels on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure a culture of quality across the organization. Leadership: Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and continuous professional development.

5. Auditing and Compliance: Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with the QMS and identify areas for improvement. Third-Party Audits: Coordinate and manage third-party audits, including certification audits, and ensure timely resolution of any non-conformities. Corrective Actions: Oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence.

6. Customer Feedback and Complaint Management: Customer Feedback: Monitor customer feedback and complaints, analyze trends, and work with relevant departments to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences. Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on significant quality issues and implement corrective actions to address the underlying causes.

7. Risk Management: Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks related to product quality and safety, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Crisis Management: Lead the response to quality-related crises, such as product recalls or significant quality failures, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure that quality considerations are integrated into all aspects of product development and delivery. Communication: Ensure clear communication of quality expectations and performance across all levels of the organization.

9. Reporting: Management Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of the QS, key quality metrics, and any significant quality issues or improvements. Data Analysis: Use data and statistical analysis to drive decision-making and improve quality processes.

10. Innovation and Best Practices: Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in quality management and incorporate them into the QMS. Benchmarking: Benchmark the brand’s quality performance against competitors and industry leaders to maintain a competitive edge.

11. Sustainability and Ethical Standards Sustainability: Ensure that the QMS supports the brand’s sustainability goals, including the use of eco-friendly materials and processes.

Ethical Compliance: Oversee compliance with ethical standards in production, including fair labor practices and environmental regulations.
