Requirements
Education
- Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized institution.
- Note: Education qualification may be relaxed for highly experienced candidate.
Experience
- At least 12 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
Additional Requirements
- Age At least 35 years
- Experience in knitwear or export-oriented RMG units preferred.
- Optimize manpower usage and reduce rework and idle timeMust have experienced in Knit Garments Finishing.
- Candidate should have able to handle the production pressure and meet deadlines.
- Should technically be qualified & capable of monitoring day to day activities.
- To meet the shipment dates.
- Must be following up day to day target work.
- Supervise and train finishing teams for optimal performance
Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee finishing operations: thread trimming, measurement checking, stain removal, ironing, poly, packing, and carton setup
- Oversee daily finishing activities including ironing, folding, tagging, and packing.
- To make finishing plan and circulate to the concerned persons accordingly.
- Achieve daily finishing production targets within deadlines.
- Ensure finishing output meets quality and compliance standards.
- To check order wise Finishing accessories status and notify the responsible person in case of any shortage.
- Coordinate with sewing, quality, and merchandising teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor finishing schedules and adjust resources to meet delivery timelines.
- To monitor and motivate finishing staff/workers and develop skills to increase finishing productivity.
- Ensure final product quality meets buyer standards and passes AQL/Buyer QC inspections.
- Handle buyer QC and third-party audits confidently.
- Maintain inventory of finishing materials and packaging supplies.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency and quality enhancement.
- To monitor and ensure shipment date wise finishing input.
- Train and supervise finishing staff for performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and adherence to health and safety protocols.
