We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Business Development (Sales and Marketing) to lead our team. The ideal candidate will act as the Team Leader and Head of the Department, driving our business development and sales efforts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and marketing within the Bangladesh market.

Job Summary:

The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and achieving sales targets while maintaining high profit margins. Key responsibilities include market development, client relationship management, and overseeing the sales process from prospecting to closing. The candidate will also provide regular reporting, monitor market trends, and coach the team to ensure excellence. This is a leadership position requiring strong sales expertise and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Business Development (Sales and Marketing) team.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Business development towards including identifying and developing business strategies through opportunities in local market.
  • Responsible for maximizing a high level of profit margin and ensure meeting the pre-set sales target.
  • Provide accurate account information/reports on a regular basis as per the agreed function reporting process.
  • Assist in the development of the organization and Sales teams through sharing specialist skills and knowledge via training and coaching as required.
  • Conduct sales presentations & discussion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
