Responsibilities & Context

  • To ensure the proper maintenance of all resources, including direct resources such as sewing machines and other equipment, as well as supporting resources such as buildings, generators, boilers, compressors, air conditioners, electrical power systems, lighting, and other mechanical and electrical systems, to ensure their proper functioning.
  • To plan, implement, and maintain systems for monitoring machine downtime, accurately identify current downtime levels, and establish targets and strategies to minimize it.
  • To strictly comply with the compliance standards stipulated by management from time to time.
  • To develop and propose a spare parts policy for the company.
  • To prepare and verify inventories of all equipment, attachments, tools, spare parts, and related assets.
  • To implement a system for maintaining these records.
  • To ensure the servicing and repair of all machines and equipment so that they remain in perfect operating condition and are always available for production.
  • To ensure that procedures are implemented to guarantee the availability of machines during style changes, including appropriate monitoring procedures.
  • To prepare capital expenditure plans and control quarterly budgets in conjunction with other members of the management team.
  • To plan total machinery requirements, including the financial implications of expansion projects.
  • To stay informed about new technologies, evaluate them against company requirements, recommend suitable acquisitions, and identify key personnel for training on new equipment.
  • To identify the training needs of maintenance staff.
  • To evaluate the performance of maintenance staff.
