Responsibilities & Context
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance.
- Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate electrical systems into overall project plans.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
- Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to maintain continuous production operations.
- Monitor and optimize energy consumption within the facility.
- Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
- Ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems, lighting, sewing machines, generators, boileres, compressors, air conditioners and other electrical infrastructure.
- Liaise with production managers, maintenance teams, and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
