Responsibilities & Context
China Northeast Electric Power Engineering & Services Co. Ltd. (NEPCS) is an Engineering Company providing services of power plant Operation & Maintenance in Bangladesh. NEPCS has about 400 personnel working in Bangladesh, China and Philippines. Out of these 400 personnel, NEPCS has over 100 qualified and experienced engineers for Power Plants’ O&M Works. NEPCS has been employed as O&M Contractor of Summit Meghnaghat Power Company Limited. Building on its technical and organizational expertise and the significant operational experience, NEPCS offers a complete range of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to power plant owners. NEPCS is committed to setting a high level of quality for customer satisfaction as well as to ensuring the Health and Safety of all personnel and protection of the Environment. NEPCS has experience in setting up full scope O&M organizations to ensure safe and efficient operations, and effective management of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant Electrical equipment as required to support plant operation.
- Maintain and control spare parts inventory.
- Assist in maintaining print files, vendor files and the equipment maintenance record.
- Assist in requisitioning parts and supplies.
- Maintain the plant mobile equipment and others asserts.
- Maintain a clean and safe shop and plant environment.
- Train and develop other employees in maintenance skills.
- Assist in budget planning and control.
- Cross train in Mechanical/I&C as time permits.
- Assist in plant operation as required.
- Assist in the update of drawings and prints as changes are made.
- Provide leadership and job coordination on critical repairs or projects.
- Maintains positive community relations.
- Schedule all outage planning and direct the activities of the Deputy Manager/Asst. Manager and Sr. Field Engineer.
- Evaluate all data to determine maintenance schedules to optimize Plant operation.
- Maintain emergency recovery organization system for unexpected emergency situation of plant.
- Maintain a high degree of skill in typical PC-based business computing applications such as databases, word processors, spreadsheets, etc.
- Should be comfortable wearing PPE for any work inside the plants.
- Proactively participate in and contribute to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.
- Follow all kind of company regulations and rules including HSE.
- Other than above clauses, follow all instruction which is made by management.
