• Experienced in the Pre-engineered Steel Structure business will be an added advantage.
• PGDSCM degree will get preference.
• Should have experience in relevant field.
• Absolutely proactive, smart, energetic, dynamic leadership, self-motivated, determined and be Tactful to meet the expectation of the company & capable to work under pressure.
• Have experience in sourcing and negotiation work for international procurement.
• Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge about Procurement & SCM.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Supply Chain, Purchase/ Procurement etc. related jobs.
• Wide travel across the country is required.

Responsibilities & Context

The incumbent will be responsible for:

• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms of Pricing, Quality, Quantity.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Overseeing and managing the inventory and the supply of goods & preparing procurement reports.
• Understanding of the local market, suppliers, contractors’ requirements.
• Collect quotations from various vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain smooth supply chain management.
• Prepare plan for proper sourcing and on time delivery of required items.
• Collect price quotations, prepare comparative statement (CS) and collect approval of purchase.
• Conduct market survey in order to develop new/alternative suppliers.
• Liaise with store to ensure receiving of goods with desired quality, quantity or any other perimeters.
• Analyze costs across many different areas of the supply chain to find ways to reduce costs.
• Coordinates and executes the purchasing transactions.
• Investigates and develops sources of supplies, interprets purchasing procedures to operations and vendors for material categories.
• Any other assignment not detailed herein & felt conducive by Management as and when necessary.
