Responsibilities & Context
The Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the training and development programs within the organization. This role involves assessing the training needs of employees, designing and delivering effective training programs, and evaluating the outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals.
- Training Needs Assessment: dentify and assess training needs through various methods like job analysis, skills gaps, and consultation with stakeholders.
- Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs (including eLearning) that target specific business needs and objectives.
- Delivery Methods: Implement a variety of training methods including instructor-led training, online learning, and blended learning approaches.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external training vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage training budgets, optimizing resources for maximum impact.
- Evaluation and Measurement: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to measure their impact on employee performance and business goals.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
