The role:

  • Oxfam, in partnership with Plan International, seeks to hire two (02) Manager for the anticipated EARN project (Economic Acceleration and Resilience for NEET youth) funded by the World Bank. The EARN Project aims to economically engage NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) youth, particularly women, in rural and semi-urban areas of Bangladesh. The project focuses on education, skills development, employment support, and enterprise development. Key objectives include enhancing employability, creating employer linkages, and providing socio-emotional behavior (SEB) and entrepreneurship development (ED) training. The Manager will lead vocational skills training programs, empower children (especially girls), and ensure alignment with Oxfam’s mission. Technical expertise, TVET sector experience, and community engagement skills are essential for this role.

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • As per Oxfam National C1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT 2,918,255.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates the salary can be negotiable.
