Responsibilities & Context

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced manager of warehouse & airport operations to oversee and optimize our warehouse and airport operations. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills and a thorough understanding of freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination, efficient workflows, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all warehouse and airport operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with logistics teams, carriers, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and accurate movement of goods through warehouse and airport facilities.
• Train, supervise, and motivate staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing skill development.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor and manage workflows to ensure seamless coordination between warehouse and airport operations.
• Resolve operational issues or discrepancies promptly to maintain service excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit operational reports to management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by senior management.
