- Proven experience in marketing and merchandising in the Knit and lingerie industry.
- Merchandisers who do not have marketing experience and direct contact with buyers must not apply.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- We are looking for a person who already have developed buyers himself and can bring ready orders for the company.
- Understanding of brand development and customer relationship management.
- Experience in sourcing new business opportunities and expanding customer base.
- Must have buyers in hand to feed 20-30 productions lines round the year.
Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new brands/buyers for all types of knitwear including lingerie products.
- Identify and contact potential clients through market research and networking.
- Collaborate with sample and production teams to understand and meet buyer`s specifications.
- Manage the end-to-end merchandising process from order receiving to delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with buyers to ensure profitability.
- Coordinate with production and quality control teams to ensure timely and quality production.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and present reports and performance metrics to senior management.
